Maybe Randy or Todd might remember the GTO that used to be in St. Ratford that had the mural of the goat on the front hood? Used to belong to Sean McConnell at one time. Last I saw it was when I lived out in Mitchell some 15 years ago. Was sitting in a driveway all rusted out BIGTIME and must have sat there for at least 2 years in all the elements uncovered. It was a crying shame
because the first time I'd ever seen it, it was just MINT! Sean looked after it REALLY well as he's a
car nut like the rest of us. It was one unique car and I'd bet that mural wasn't a cheap addition to the car by any means.

Thought I'd just drop in and let you know the old "Mural" car still exists (less the murals).

Funny... the mural on the hood was actually a big-horned sheep (not a goat)!!!! LMAO.
I didn't do it. The previous owner did. I don't even have any pics of the murals.

I've owned the car for going on 30 years now.

Nice job on the sheep, I mean goat, Sean!
I couldn't imagine a big-horned sheep on your GTO.no
Ray will like it.

Hey Sean; soooo.....you've been a closet Canadian Poncho entity until my comments brought you into the spotlight eh? LOL! I always thought the mural looked really nice on the car but it was the interior I ended up shaking my head at and walking away from. I think anything you do to the old
girl will do her justice. Welcome aboard by the way!

I never did meet the original owner, but he had spent a fortune destroying an original GTO interior, LOL. The entire thing was crushed velvet, EVERYTHING. I was told he built it to show. I typically preferred Ford 60's muscle cars at the time, but when I took the goat for a test drive, I knew I had to have it. '73 GTO's weren't recognized as anything worthwhile at the time, and that suited my style of driving stuff that was not tyipical for Stratford. And this was the first car I ever owned that would actually stay flat around a corner, LOL.

It will be back on the road. I expect to put some time in to it over the next couple years. It WILL have attitude! It will most likely NOT be all shiny and pretty ;)

Lookin' forward to annoying folks with the vintage Walker "cherry bombs" I scooped at a garage sale.

Cheers
Sean
