smileMy car is going to the shop on thursday to get painted and fixed up.it will  stay there till next spring.I am ordering door panels headliner seat covers carpet and the back dash.I just want to have some of your great knowledge once again.This is what i have understood.I have a 68 beaumont 2 door sedan.I am told to get all the parts mentioned above for a 68 chevelle malibu sedan. I also am looking for a clock or tach indash and a radio.Would these be gto parts.I have a while till i will be ordering anything but i want to be ready.Please all help and opinions are appreciated. Randy

Yes for body parts all mine were ordered from the 67 Chevelle catalog but all parts are interchangeable between the Beaumont and Chevelle... My understanding is grill and tailights are the only difference, and a few interior areas as well are different..

Back dash I think would be the same but can't say 100%

Yes your dash is all GTO/Lemans stuff.  The rest of interior is chevelle as you said. I have seen clocks on Ebay and are not to bad on price but an original tach will cost you.  I think though that the 68 gto tach was a hood mounted one and not in the dash. Any one know if the 68 Gto/lemans had a dash mounted tach as an option ?

Just looked up Performance Years cataloge and shows a reproduction indash Tach for a 68 $169 bucks.  See link for GTO/Lemans parts. Go to the dash section.

I know the years are different as Im a 67 but I found my tack at classic performance in Calgary and the clock at ultimate chevelle in Ontario . Hope this helps and each one was $220.

My car is there waiting.Decided total paint job Darker red with black chevelle striping.Interior black with matching red highlights inside.Also talking some king of highlighting the black striping.My body man kinda had a vision.Thats pretty much the plan just decide what shades to go with.will be ready next spring.Also found out my friend who is a cuda fan just purchased a 70 hemi cuda.Some time next summer i can go to visit him in my new beaumont and i will ride in a legend.Sounds like a good day. Will keep you posted Randy

I'm not sure if the question got answered but yes, there is a very nice in dash tach for 68 GTO/Beaumont.
