Very cool, now you showed that I think we have a big brass one on the floor at the office outside teh mens room.  I just may have to get a modern unit to replace it smile

Those are cool Geoff!

Have you seen these: http://blog.modernmechanix.com/mags/ModernMechanix/8-1935/fire_bomb.jpg

We have a big old brass/copper extinguisher that sits on the floor. It is full of water, and you pump it like a weed sprayer.
Sounds like Ray has the same.

Rays would use a soda / water premix that is 'charged' . I have the same style here that was taken out of service. I took the gauge out and put a tire valve in it's place. fill 3/4 with water and 125 psi air. It shoots 40 feet with a precise water jet.

It's great for knocking wasps nests of the eve !!

This is one of the things from Dad's shop that I couldn't bring myself to part with.   As mentioned by 69Belair, a little elbow grease and it will be finding a high profile home somewhere in the shop.

I collect them, as I'm in the fire protection business. If for sale, letme know. I have a few cool ones in my basement.

Well I'm guessing that fire should feel pretty safe/protected around this one LOL.   It's got something in it, but I'm not sure how effective it would be.

Got one mounted in the garage. Original bracket and all. Going to have to pull it down and polish it up. Looks pretty sharp

The one I have. I gave it a little spray with the hose to wash the dust off.
