The car is SOLD. A very nice elderly couple bought the car. He is 71  and she is 68. They had wanted an old car for quite some time. This is there first old car. New to the hobby at 71 years young. "HOW COOL IS THAT".

No offence taken biggrin   actually quite funny, that you are same age as me, and called them a "elderly" couple   I guess we are birds of a feather.......

That is great!  I just sold an older Buick to an 86 yr old man and his 83 yr old wife, they have2 other collector vehicles, do I break the record?  Age is just a number but this might help the young "elders".

I just joined HASC and ACCCC in the Ottawa area and I think the average age in both clubs is about 80. These people are active, mechanically adept and love to go in tours with their spouses in their 50 year old plus vehicles.

Good for you Terry, glad to see the vehicle sold finally and going to an appreciative home.

Congratulations Terry on the sale. It is a nice car and was a reasonable price. On the subject of age, I am also 62 and two weeks ago called a guy in Nova Scotia about one of two cars he had for sale. He was selling two of his cars to make room for a 1950 Oldsmobile he is starting to restore. He told me he will be 81 in August. Keep active, stay young.
