I was watching Speed [what else] & they showed the new Nationwide cars for next yr. They will run them 4 times this yr. Ford is going with the MUSTANG, Chry, is going with the Challenger & GM with the [you;d think Camaro] but no, they are sticking with the Impalla, Why?? No one knows or can figure that out. Cars will be same W/B as CUP cars, central cage is the same, only frt. & rear. body clip will be different. Broadcasters were baffled as to why GM wouldn't promote the Camaro,instead of the "really non-existant" 2 dr. Impalla that's "eon's old" They all think they "missed" the boat AGAIN!! All I can say is "DOAH!!!!!!!! where's Homer???

Was watching that too and was in complete amazement to GM's call. The head of marketing needs to be replaced because that was the best chance to promote the Camaro that I have ever seen. My brand loyalty for the past 25 years is just about gone...no

I didn't  know they skipped the Camaro!  
Seems strange to me, as the cars are all the same, and the idenfification is just decal packages...  

Someone commented last fall, to the looks of the Mustang and thought it looked
bad    Its only decals   they could badge up a Studebaker , if they wanted

The Camaro is short and fat, looks like a 5' man that weighs 300 lbs. That's my opinon so I can see sticking with the Impala.

I don't think it matters. They all look the same to me. I liked the old days when the cars originated on the production lines.

Seems like going the trans am bodied route of the 90's. What ever happened to "stock car"? Oh yeah, started to build junk that couldn't take the track. Lost interest when #3 passed on, Stopped watching when they let imports into the series. Bring back the Alabama gang and let them beat on the foreign (sp?) crap. ( Sorry in advance to those that work for you know who) Just not the same anymore. Watered down crap, taking the driver and crew out of the picture.

It was like the old days on Fri. night, as Dale Jr. ran his Nationwide car in his Dad's old colours of blue & yellow[Wrangler?] & ran the # 3 on it. He even took it to "Victory Lane" winning the race. The racing is getting more competitive,more door handle to door handle & more lead changes than before. The new Mustang they unveiled was a Sharp looking car[even for a Ford] It looked like the real thing, & that will make a diff, with fans [I think] for marketing [selling] on Monday mornings after the races!!! GM really missed Again & yeah, somebody upstairs or all of them should be shown the door,not only for this but alot of "screw ups" before this!!!! I don't think racing a Impalla 2dr. sedan that GM doesn't even make, [same goes for Ford & their Tauris] will get a race fan to go buy a "more door" of the same badging???

Kevin Harvick won it. The highlights of the race are quite spectacular. There were a pile of crashes.
