Are 66 SD emblems for quarter panels hard to find or not too bad?

I ran across a guy today that thinks he may have a couple SD emblems from a 66 he previously owned.  Was wondering if they were as scarce as some of the other years or not and what would they be worth if in decent shape?

I wonder why a guy like Dale would choose to reproduce these. It can't be cost effective with such a low demand and low dollar value item confuse
