We lost Bob Probert yesterday. A Tough athlete for sure. Also a family man. One of the last old time hockey players for sure. Used to love watching him throw, even as a habs fan. 45 years old. Heart attack while out boating with his family, sad. Never took himself too seriously though, as we remember last year on the skating with the stars. You will be missed Bobby, A shame he couldn't over come his demons, rest in peace.

While I like the Wings, I was never a Probert fan. However, that is very very sad to see him gone so young. Such a hard life. Like Player said, it would have been great to see him win his most important fight of all with the demons.

Probbie did a lot for charity. He was here on the Island a couple times playing in charity golf tournaments. Funny guy too ... called his driver "The Frying Pan" club!
