I want to get the engine color right on the 2+2. I went to the paint store to get the paint (which I assumed was Chevy Orange) and he asked if I wanted Chevy Orange or Chevy Red-Orange? I know Pontiac used 2 different color blue depending on the year, so I guess I shouldn't have been surprised! So...what color is correct for the '69 big block?
My information says in 1956 Chevrolet cars with small blocks got the red-orange but that was a one year run only. A 1956 Canadian Pontiac small block would be green.
