starting in business

It's done, the business in born, and the web site too. For those who don't follow my thread in the Pre 58 forum, I start a shop in the old car resto and maintenance.

My friend and I got a first real job, wa have to restore the tranny of a B12 from Bombardier. Right now I don't know the year but the customer tell me it is a T-120 engine, we'll see it next week.  Monday night I had to work on a Buick 57, wiper problem.

I invite you to send me jobs biggrinbiggrinbiggrinbiggrin or visit the web site.

thanks.

Fitz.

Ah, I see it now - very small font, hard for old eyes to see smile.gif

Try this for your initial English text:

SEMVA Workshop is a workshop for repair and maintenance of old cars made by two trained mechanics.

We repair bodies, chassis, electrical problems, we repair engines, transmissions, differentials, we repair brakes, directional indicators in the dashboard, carburetors .....

We can diagnose and repair problems with ignition systems, fuel systems, oil systems, we can rebuild V8, V12 or V16 as well as inline engines, we specialize in flathead engines, we can rebuild automatic and manual transmissions, including overdrive transmissions whether mechanical or e
lectrical, we do interior and exterior paint and finishing .....

We can do updates, we know how to look for electrical problems, we know hoiw to detect problems before they occur, we know how to completely or partially restore a classic car ....

We work on GM, Ford, Hudson, Nash, Packard, Dodge, Chrysler, Plymouth, and European cars....

We have customers from France and Switzerland as well as North America.

We can do a pre-purchase inspection, we know how to send an old car to Europe, we are YOUR GARAGE for all your needs.

Dave

St-Hyacinthe, QC.

Bonne Chance Mon Ami !

I have been to St Hyacinthe, spent a day there on a trip home from the Maritimes in the Suburban when the kids were younger. It is one the Yamaska River, east of Montreal and south of the St. Lawrence. It is a nice town or small city I suppose. As I recall there is Raymond Street and I have a photo taken with the sign !

If I ever get up to Montreal, I'll visit your garage, OK?

I confess I use Google translate and also Babelfish, then I do a little adjustment to make it closer to English (although I fear it is American English, not Canadian smile.gif )

It's kind of fun. Here's one you should be able to use for your Easydrive:

I'll email you the full-size picture.

Since I started the cie this summer, some contract came, and today the first is out and paid!

On hand we have a Bombardier snowmobile 1952 and a 50 Hudson to fix a huge oil leak.

Since we don't want to left our regular job for Atelier SEMVA inc. right now, we are happy with the start.

I'm searching  distributor of the EasyDrive system outside Québec, I would like to have one in each province, the product is a high quality made european parts, contact me for detail  by the web site contact page in the english version or PM me by the forum.

Thank you.

Hey Fitz, just out of curiosity, would the Easy Drive Power Steering System work in a '61 GMC pickup truck? Also, you have a fabulous website!

Thanks for the kind word about the website.

Yes your truck can be powersteering operated with the Easydrive. Some bushing are available for most  column diameter. If not we can made it for you if needed.

If you have seen the Easydrive page in the website you have seen how low space it take under  dash, also you can ajust the "force" needed to rotate your steering by a small potentiometer.

Let me know.

Fitz.
