Story out of Washington state, from another forum I read----

My sister lives in the outskirts of Spokane, Washington, on 20 acres. The house next door to her is being rented out to these 18 or 19 yr old kids that find it necessary to leave their car running in the drive way and play that thump, thump music at all hours of the night.

Well, my sister called the cops at 3 am after asking them to turn it down she has kids trying to sleep and the music is shaking the windows its so loud, (her house is about 350 ft from this other house) and they turn it down when the cops showed up and told them to. Well as soon as the cops left, they turned it right back up. This wasnt the first time she had called the cops on them.

This is where my sister had enough after the kids were all awake (her husband is on travel for work) she grabbed the 12 Ga and walked over to their unattended car pointed the gun at the trunk amp and boom, no more music. Well I live about 1.5 hrs away and I got a frantic call at 4 am telling me that I had to get to her house quick, that she was going to jail. I hauled up there and there were all kinds of cops there. My wife stayed and watched the kids and I went to post bail for her. They also arrested the noisy neighbors for disturbing the peace, and possesion of alcohol and illegal substance. The cops were cool about the whole thing and the judge only charged her with dangerous discharge of a firearm, he didnt even site her for the destruction of the property. The cop said that those punk kids will have to take her to court once they get out of jail if they want to get any money out of her to fix the car.

After all this I think I am going to take a different approach to my noisy wanna-be gangster neighbors. $300 bail is nothing for any future run ins, they must think she is crazy and I bet they dont do anything to piss her off again.
