Last Saturday I attended The Ledgends GTO Club sponsored "Pontiacs in the Park" 2nd Annual Picnic. All Pontiac clubs in the Puget Sound Area were invited to participate(POCI, Firebirds and of course GTO's). Forty cars showed up for the fun. No judging, no classes - Just a great time for all. We traveled in 4 small groups from the area and met up at Mud Mountain Dam Park, southeast of Seattle.
For me, I love 1957 Pontiacs, Canadian or American. Three 57s showed up at the picnic and as you can see in the pictures attached I zeroed in on this particular car because it stood out so dramatically. This car was recently gone through completely(paint, chrome, interior, engine compartment) on what I thought was a beautiful car to begin with. Check the photos out and see if you don't agree. Please enjoy.

The assymetric interior was factory design on Starchief and Bonneville. It came in vinyl and cloth or optional leather. The pattern on this car seems a little short on the front seat and the decorative star is missing on front and back seats. 1957 Laurentians had a vinyl and cloth seat with the same design as U.S. cars but on cheaper Chevrolet seats.
The engine in the car is a late model Pontiac and the snout of the air intake near the air cleaner is engraved with the Pontiac name. I did not verify the exact engine but I thought it was a 1997 model out of a Trans Am.
