Have cash--- need muscle--open to new ideas.

I am looking to purchase a 67 Beaumont or a mid 60's GTO driver.  No trailer queens or wrecks.  I am open to other models, (even non CP's..Mopar) but must be turn key, and rust free. Under 30k.  Any CP members need to lighten their fleet? I am a serious buyer, and will own my new baby this summer. If you prefer privacy, please pm me.  I likely will only buy a stick shift on the floor, but will consider auto again. Non numbers matching and custom is fine.  I am looking for horsepower for when I get stressed and need to vent. I will research it to death and pay a fair price.   I will consider near finished projects, but would have to be on the road.

I'll be busy with my 67 Grande for a while with the frame swap, and prefer not to be without  a real ride.

I was convinced that if I bought a beaumont, it would have to be a 67, but this 69 is beautiful. I am trying to not let everyones love of the car affect what I like in a car, but its not working. My dream car used to be a judge, but age changes taste I guess. If I cant get exactly what I want, I will expand my horizons, as there are
several other cars on my "A list".  I just pulled the pic below off of the net, it is exactly what does it for me. (65-67 GTO works too). Custom is fine, and original options dont matter much either.

I tried to buy a 66 gto rag, 389 tri 4 gear a few years ago, in a garage, under tarps, junk. Need a full resto as looked like it was sitting for 10/15 years. Guy wouldn't sell. One of those "I'll get to it someday" guys. Probably still sitting in that parking garage in Vancouver. I'll keep my eye's open for you. What's your $$ limit?

I didnt even know exactly what a 69 Acadian was  til I just looked it up. (blasphemy in this forum I guess) I'm learning a lot through this process, especially when it comes to 1967.  My taste seems to change in 1968.  Dont get me wrong, these machines are more beautiful than 99% of everything on the road, and I'd be honored to own one , and get envious when I look at others.  But I am in a once in a lifetime position, where wifey has agreed to me dropping 30k (we are not rich) on my dream car, so I really want to get it right, and not be in a position where I have a beautiful car, but wish I had a better one. I'll post my reasoning in the lounge as I have a story behind my decision. Thanks for all the pm's and ideas. I'll still consider anything, as I tend to be impulsive with cars.

Want to drop just 10K for a nice driver 67' Camaro? lol

Leaves you lots of money to drop horsepower in it! Its a 6 cylinder, car with a 4 speed.

This thread is dead.  I bought a 67 Beaumont Custom, 454 4Sp Muncie M22.  Its an amazing feeling to own the nicest car I've ever seen.  There are many more valuable cars out there, but none I'd rather be driving. Thanks for all the help and offers. (car found by MC worship.gif)
