hop on a Westjet flight and come take a look.  The eastern guys will be amazed in the state of these prairie cars.   Not to say they won't have rust, but they're not swiss cheeze like most of the eastern cars.   The money spent on the flight and transportation will easily be saved in body work.  And you can likely just drive them back to the east.

Second that. I've seen cars in Alberta junkyards that could be restored rustwise, if they weren't missing so many parts.

  That's exactly what I did to get my firebird. Came from just outside of St. Albert. Still needs front floor pans, but the rest is pretty good.
