Barry your car looks very solid and I like the colour and wheel combo, looks great, I also love post cars! My car is light Aqua and Aqua interior. There is a feature car in Popular Hot Rodding, April issue with the same body colour and interior but it has a big block. I am planning on the same look as that car only a small block and period correct 4 speed. This car will compliment my Acadian, give my wife something to drive and what a coincidence this car comes from Collingwood Ontario same as my Acadian!
Thanks Chris, the car is fairly solid, I bought it about 7-8 years ago when I was stationed in Edmonton. ( Man, time is flying by!) It's got numerous dents and had a big mouse nest below the the driver side rear seat window. Very disgusting cleaning that out. The car came out of Sask. originally, I believe. I was going to drag it, BB, th 400 and a 12 bolt 4:10 rear. I had the body off the frame, sandblasted and Tremclad semi-gloss blacked the frame. PST front end rebuild kit and new body mounts is as far as I've gone with it. Now it's going to be a small block /auto and I have a 3:73 12 bolt rear for it. I'm not sure when I'll get around to it, but at least it's been indoors since I've owned it.
Oh yeah, how about some pics of yours!

Got the car out of the barn and on the trailer today with the assistance of bowtiedown (Mike) and his young sidekick. Mike I can't thank you enough for hauling my Chevelle 300 on your tilt trailer and how much I appreciate the 8000 lb. power winch it is equipped with, what a time saver it is !!! We are delivering it on Monday to the resto man Allan Ruth. Pictures to follow.
Barry I will be replacing the rubber floor mat with underpad, sound deadner and carpet. It's going to take a while to finish this one but it is 80% better than my Acadian was!
If it turns out anything like your Acadian, it's a very lucky car!
Do you notice what a nice parts counter mine has turned out to be. That intake sitting on the engine hood is an SY1 Edelbrock, if you know of anyone looking for one!
'64 Parisienne CS "barn find" - last on the road in '86 ... Owner Protection Plan booklet, original paint, original near-mint aqua interior, original aqua GM floor mats, original 283, factory posi, and original rust.
Cool car...way to go. The guy I bought my L72 Biscayne from has a 65 post L79 4 speed car. It's a 16K original mile car, bench seat 4 speed, dark blue with a fawn interior....the tires are original and the spare has never been on the ground. I have a couple pictures of it somewhere in this computer that I'll post. Those 65 L79 Chevelle post cars are something else and would give the Hemi boys a run for their $$$$$.
