1969 Chev 427 4bolt main STD Bore "CE" Block - Keeping it in Canada

Hi guys,

the trade fell through so I'm selling the 512 427 4 bolt main block, rods and 396 steel crank.  There was a gentleman on this site that contacted me about this block, so I thought I'd try to keep it in Canada before sending down south.

1969 Factory 4 bolt main 427 block casting # 3963512 dated December 1968, with "CE" stamping. Can be used as warranty replacement engine in any 1969 high HP Chevrolet product including 425hp Impala, COPO equipped Chevelle, Camaro or 435hp Corvette.

Price includes the following only: Block, crank, dimple rods. Or $2700 for just the block and rods.

Block - hot tanked, stripped, cleaned, magnafluxed - STD bore needs bore of 10 over and starter bolt hole requires minor repair.
Crank - forged steel cross drilled - needs only polish, currently 30 and 40 under.

Asking $2950 for everything or $2700 w/o crank - may consider trades.

Please send me a PM call (250) 748-0501 after 6pm Thanks

I sent an email to a friend who may be looking. I think he would like an earlier date but hopefully I hear back in a day or so.

That may have been me that inquired about your block a couple of months ago. I've  found one since just like yours ( CE and same cast date) , and just brought it up from the south.

Your asking price is fair , so someone here should grab it. 4 bolt CE blocks are not that readily available

Thanks for the advice - sorry we didn't connect earlier - the trade deal would have worked out well, but we just couldn't bridge the distance problem.

Cheers

Dave
