Front Fenders - 51 Fleetleader Deluxe

Needing some clarification.  I've go a 51 Fleatleader Deluxe 2dr Sedan and am wondering whether the front fenders are correct for the car.  I've seen several "Canadian" cars that have a seam running from the headlight ring back on the front fenders, and several that don't.  Mine doesn't !!!

Did the Canadian ponchos have the seam/lip or not ????

Thanks much !!!!

Depends on the model. If you have a 2000 or 2200 series it will be a Canadian bodied car, if its a 2500 series car it will be the same as the US cousin. But from what you say that its a Fleatleader that puts it as a 2200 series car and same as the Canadian bodied cars. Similar to Ch@#Y.
I'm not so up on the 49-52 models as to which series of car has the seam in the fender and which one does not, But this is a start. The seam your talking about would be either on the 20, 22 cars (Yours) or on the 25 cars. Most likely not on both. But I have been worng before. So if yours and Another guy does not have a seam along the fender then it sounds like you have the correct fenders for a 2200 series car. And the US cousin the 2500 does have a  seam. I hope this helps you
To help you even more I can give you an example of a 2500 series car My friend's 51 it is a Canadian built car on the US chassis, a model 2569 D
