Ah!!!! now no start?


Today i thought id fix the leaking inspection plates on the side fo the 194 in my 63 Acadian,Had to pull the dist out to fix front one and must have not put it back in right,now no start,and no shop manual to look to reset timing,im guess thats what it is,Any help please,ran fine before so i know its just a matter of getting the timing back in order.

Brian, the distributer is most likely turnned on you. You will have to pull the plug on number one cylinder and bring piston to the top with timing mark on zero. Locate the number one wire. Your rotor will need to be pointing at the number one wire on the distributer when installed. If I was closer, I`d come over.
