Hi Everyone!

Hi,

I am from Melrose, Massachusetts and I recently purchased a beauty of a 1966 Canadian-built Skylark.  I love the car and am enjoying taking it to shows and cruise nights.

Thank you.

Welcome Charles!
A lot of people from Mass. make it up here for their Summer. Lots of local Red Sox fans here too!

Hello Skylark 66. My dad and mom bought a new 1967 Buick Special sedan in April 1967. I learned how to drive in that car back in 1974. My dad sold it still running in 1984. Also i have much family in your state, especially in New Bedford, Fall River and Boston area. I have always had a soft spot for those Buicks because of growing up with that wonderful 67. Ours had the last Buick V-6 that was sold by Buick in 1967. What motor is in yours? My last question is how did a Oshawa, Ontario, Canada built 1966 Buick end up in your parts. If you want to learn a ton of stuff about your Canadian built Buick. You should contact George Zapora at General Motors of Canada Vintage Vehicles Services. For a very small fee, if you send them your V.I.N. tag information that is on the cowl of the car. They will tell you exactly when your car was built, what dealer sold the car new and and a ton of other info for your car. Check the net or let me know if you want more info. Love your ride brother. Cheers. George.
