1968 Impala SS427 Project Cars For Sale - Too Many Cars - Too Little Time

Hi Fellas,

after the response I got in the past few days to my posting, I've been doing some serious thinking...I'm 45 years old and besides these 4 SS427s I have 8 other cars plus the daily drivers to tinker on.  So I decided its time to reduce the fleet and I thought I'd post it here first and see if anyone is interested, then move on to the SS427 website, then on to Kijjiji, ebay etc.

Let me know if SERIOUS and I can get you some details on each car.

Thanks

Dave,
Very cool cars! As per board rules however, we need a price posted for them.

Thanks
Todd

Great cars and fair prices. How much is the Caprice Wagon Dave? That would be the ultimate car hauler.

Not at all. I was watching that one. I wanted to bid on it too but I'd already bought a 68 Bel Air 2 dr post. Oh well, it will be a lot cheaper for you to bring it up to BC from California than for me to ship it to Newfoundland.

Whew - I'm glad someone else thinks it was an OK thing.

My buddy lives in Chatsworth and we'll make a holiday out of driving it back.

The car is 100% genuine and since I hate AC, its a great car for ease of restoration.

Its the Caprice Estate that was on ebay recently.

Original paint, 3rd owner, number match 129,000miles - fix the rad and drive 'er home - Grecian green on black 427 TH400, PS, PDB, PW, PDL, PSeat, tint, with documents and virtually no rust and NO - A/C = YES!

I would bet! Tough to beat that kind of documentation!

I only looked under the back seat of my 67 427 Caprice for the paper work. I guess I should check under the front buckets

I've found them under, or in the back of the buckets if its a 2+2 or SS.

I saw it but couldn't bid as I had already bought another car; otherwise Dave would have had a little more competition in the auction.

I just closed the deal with the guy today and also bought from him a white 1968 Caprice Estate wagon with the numbers matching 307 and Saginaw 3 spd (on the tree) with overdrive.

This car can be seen in the back of the fleabay photos and is also a dry CA car with protecto plate confirming this very bizarre transmission option.

How many Caprice wagons would have been ordered with the 3speed?

Check out the clutch pedals in the picture - weird!

You are a fortunate guy Dave to have all these neat 68s - probably my favorite Chevy. Love the wagons.
