I went and seen TCB (taking care of business) band. Elvis original band from 69 to 77. Was realy cool as it was James Burtons birthday aswell. Got to hang out with band prior to show, watch them rehearse and spent a fair bit of time speaking to Glen Hardin prior to show. Spoke briefly to Ronnie Tutt. Whom has been playing with Neil Diamond shortly after the movie the Jazz Singer. Terry Mike Jeffrey headlined and did an outstanding performance. TCB does NOT play with tribute artists. Yet they will play with people whom sing Elvis music. This performance was at the Niagara Falls Center for Arts for the Elvis festival. Was an amazing time....as I am an uber guru Elvis fan.
If you want to see the Worlds Best Elvis Tribute artist, hands down...he is coming to London Ont Sept 30,2010 at centennial hall. I HIGHLY recommend it. His name is Shawn Klush. Since seeing Shawn perform it has ruined me from seeing any other tribute artist as NO ONE comes even close. His tage performance, appearance , sound is uncanny. He won Worlds Greatest Tribute Atrist in 07. Endorsed by the Graceland estate, Is on the road travelling the world. UK, Austrailia, Spain, Chile, US, Canada... Its a fantastic show, I saw him perform with Elvis original back up singers the Sweet Inspirations april 16,09.
