I spoke to the owner of the 64 409 Custom Sport I know. He is taking the car out tonight to downtown Oshawa. Be on the lookout boys, photos would be great.
Car is done in primer on sides, original paint on hood trunk and roof, cherry bomb glass packs with refinished Cragar SS wheels. It's still a project but I am sure it looks bad a$$. Apparently the old 409 has posi too since she can lay down two beautiful black streaks!

'64 Parisienne CS "barn find" - last on the road in '86 ... Owner Protection Plan booklet, original paint, original near-mint aqua interior, original aqua GM floor mats, original 283, factory posi, and original rust.
Spoke with the owner at the downtown car show in Oshawa tonight. Also got the chance to read the GM of Canada of micofiche page. Car was sold at Pacquette Motors I believe in Denben Saskatchewan.
Two brothers bought two 64 Pontiacs at the same dealership both 409 cars. The car in question and a 64 Pontiac Custom convertible. The present owner of the coupe has talked to a guy who worked at the dealership at the time. These two cars were the only two 409 cars the dealer ordered and sold that year.
The car is in very good shape for a survivor car. Even has period correct Crager S/S mags. Had a good talk with the owner and went through the GM microfiche telling him where the other cars on the list went.
Sorry no pictures I was too busy talking to owners and didn't have my digital camera with me.
Car has telescoping steering wheel, reverb radio, metalic lining brakes and one other option I can't remember now. Original colour scheme is Tuxedo black paint upper and lower body wth a red vinyl interior.
Car was something to see as its the only original 409 car I've ever seen.
Can't wait to see it in the sunshine tomorrow at the show.

I took all of those photos and wrote a story on the car in Astro News Flash. It was the coldest day of the winter the day I saw the car the first time but I figured to see a real 409 Poncho it was a trip worth taking.I am in regular contact with Ray the owner and in fact would consider him a friend, we went to the big auction at the near the Toronto airport together back in April, me as his guest.
Oh ya, Dealer 's son is a member on here, he often uses one of my photos as his avatar Gerry Paquette told us about the two brothers because he and his brother worked at the dealewrship, in fact I belive Gerry's brother PDI'd the two cars and I told Ray about that.

Great photos. Brad's Beaumont is the nicest I've ever seen. I give him credit for coming out last weekend in the rain! I understand traction was a bit of an issue in the rain with those bias ply's and rear end gears!
