what newer transmission (manual or auto swap) would most easily fit on the 1953/54 Pontiac straight 6 that originally had the 3 speed manual?
I have two bell housings one for Canadian pontiac and one for the American Pontiac. The car has it orginal torque tube removed; it is basically setup like an american Pontiac now.
