I like it!  Is there anymore info about, or pics of the car?  Looks like it was rescued from a barn with all the "fallout" on it!

I had a look at this car this afternoon and was hoping with the low miles it may provide some better parts I could swap with ones on my car. Not the case.
The fellow that has it listed and has it at his house is not the owner of the car. There is no trunk / glove box key so I couldn't look inside the trunk or open the glovebox door. No big deal though.
The car does straight bumpers and all the trim is there. All the chrome would have to be redone and the Custom emblems on the front fenders are held on with rivets.

The car had a quicky complete paint job at one time and it looks the right quarter was painted once afterwards.
Both quarters have had some mud work done around the wheel openings and the lips at the front near the rockers are gone. Some fiberglass tape was used at the inner to outer wheelhouse seam in a spot which typically does not rot so maybe to cover some of the missing sound deadener.

The left quarter has one scrape.

The bottom of the car was very well oiled. And all the visible floors looked really good. Unfortuately when they are this well oiled the body cushions deteriorate to what looks like grease. Sorry no pics.

The doors and front fenders look to be in good shape and don't show any major signs of rust or being rusty. The rad support, header panel, bumper filler and all the Beaumont grille brackets, grilles and hood catch mechanism are in good shape. All the front grille and headlight chrome would have to be redone.

The mileage is a stated on Kijiji

The interior itself is in good shape but another case of poor strorage. Mice have been in the interior and though there are no holes they left a reminder of their presence. There is quite a bit of mold and mildew.
All black seatbelts are there and the buckles look really good.

All the dash bezels still have good chrome edging on them. The heater controls are nice.  The dash pad has no cracks and is very nice. Remember this dash has no side vents so is only for use on a sedan.
This is only the second 69 Beaumont I have seen with radio delete and the panel is in good shape.

Close up of the radio delete plate. Very rare

Under the hood is the original 250 CI Astro-Six. The engine runs good but has an exhaust leak at exhaust manifold on #1.
No PS or PB. Both plastic inner fenders are broken (darn). The original washer bottle is still in good shape. Everything looks original.

Cowl tag shot for Fred but he already had the info. This tag does have the &&& stamped in it beside the 1C so I though I would post it anyways.

If anyone has any more questions I can help with just post them.
It's not what I am looking for right now so I'll have to stay with the 69 I already have. LOL

I like it too! The sheet metal looks surprisingly good (bottom of doors, fender and around the lip of the wheel well on the quarter). If it looks that good underneath,  the price is more than fair.  Looking forward to more info on it! (Thanks Brad! wink)

Sounds like it could be a good driver/cheapo collector car for somebody.

Do you think it would be worth fixing the quarters and a repaint + new carpet to reduce the mouse/mould smell?

Looks like there could be a leak at the base of the rear window, so maybe the trunk is in rough condition, too...

Did you get a chance to drive the car?

I'm definitely curious as my first car was a '68 Beaumont 4 dr, but I'm in NS so I don't know if I could make it work or not.  I'm a little leary of possible hidden rust nightmares as I don't know that I'd want to invest big bucks in fixing a 6 cyl 4 door, cause you'd never be able to recoup much of your investment should you have to sell it someday.

I am curious, though....

Thank you Brad for all of the info and pic's. The price still seems fair to me for what it is.

A little work around the quarters maybe but not necessary. The guy told me he did everything for the safety except fix the manifold leak. There is no trunk key so I guess he is assuming the trunk floor is OK. It looks good from the bottom.

The rear window may leak a bit but I have seen package trays warped like that on cars that have been in poor storage. It's hard to tell when you can't open the trunk to check the lower corners of the rear window.

I didn't drive the car but it fired right up and it does drive.

this is from the post of the previous owner from August 2008

Hello folks, new here being I don't have a pontiac but I could use some help. My boss asked me to sell this car for him, so I'll be listing it soon on kijiji and ebay probably but I'm not sure what it's worth.  I've yet it clean it up and get details about it, but what I do know: 1969, 4dr, straight 6, orginal green paint, green interior, 44000 org miles, solid body (no holes or dents).  It's a one owner car, my boss bought it from his aunts estate auction and it's been sitting in a barn for the last 7 or so years.  I also noticed that there's no radio in it (deleted when bought)

I'll have more pictures of the car cleaned up by the weekend if anyones interested.  But I would love to know the range of what these 4dr cars sell for.

thanks
The car is in Kitchener Ontario.  The asking price will be around the 3000-3500.  Still have to clean up the car and get it running.  The battery is dead from sitting and gotta change the old gas out.

Thanks for the info, guys!  Interesting... might be a neat little car to cruise around in and fix as you go.  Hmmm...

Brad, what shape were the seats in? Are they all vinyl or vinyl with material in between? Is the owner firm on the price?

On note, as for no glove box/trunk key, if you pop the lock cylinder out of the glove box lock, generally there will be a 4 digit code stamped in it, ie 3W68, and this is your key code.

Take that # to GM, or myself if I were close as I cut GM keys as well, and they will cut a key for you....

vinyl with cloth. The guy that put the car on Kijiji was not the owner. He told me if I wanted to make an offer he would ask the guy if he would take it.

I met the guy that bought this car the other night. He is in the Brussels area. He said he is going to drive it the way it is with the addition of Vette wheels and a big block hood.
I gave him the information to the forum so hopefully he shows up.

Thanks for the update.  It's good to see that the car is going to see a new life on the road.  Hopefully the new owner will discover what a great site this is!
