If anyone is going to the US and is thinking of buying a welding helmet, Harbour Freight has one on sale right now for 34.99. I have had the identical helmet (bought at Princess Auto) for about 5 years now. It's still working perfect but I picked up a new one anyway because I'm sure sooner or later it will either quit working or I will step on it!!!

I just checked and Harbor Freight (notice US spelling of Harbor) has 330 US locations so you should easily find one on your way. You may need to print off an online coupon to get the price, depending on exactly when you are going.
