Wow, how often do you see a Marlin at a show or a cruise night? I have only seen one out west and it generally draws alot of attention. Very unique cars. The Galaxie is jaw dropping too. How can you not love a big car with multiple carbs? That is very cool. If I ever decided I had a need to drive a Ford, I think it would be a Galaxie just like that.

That Marlin usually has a companion an earlier 327 model, so we often have two out at our local cruise night.
The story on the Galaxie is that it was the current owner's fathers car that was drag raced. It is a 4 speed by the way, just a beautiful car. Ford or not it demands RESPECT.
Ray. Thanks for the pix of route 66 cruise! Especially of the medium blue 50 Chev fastback, as I owned it from 1976 to 1993! The current owner who bought it from me, lives in Pickering! He also has owned it for 17 years! The dark blue 42 Buick is owned by a good friend of mine, in Scarborough, who has owned it since 1969! Great memories! Bob.

I'll say Hi to Bill for you next time I see him out with his Buick. Being a war time car it has the black out treatment, very little to no chrome. It is a very nice car. And that fast back Chev was awesome too.
