Very nice indeed. Hard to tell from photos but I think that car is known to a few members on board. Pretty sure it appears at the Fleetwood Cruise each year.

1963 Pontiac Parisienne 2 dr ht with transplanted 409 Chevy engine and TH350 automatic transmission.
Engine was built by Les Davenport many years ago, and was driven only one summer before being parked, so has less than 3000 km on rebuild. Venolia pistons, Crane cam, BB Chevy rods, ported and flow benched 817 small port heads, "X" truck block, Comp Cams roller rockers, BB screw in studs, BB springs, 2.19 intake 1.88 exhaust valves, Offy 2X4bbl high rise intake, Carter AFB carbs, MSD distributor, Thorley headers. Have dyno sheets.
Transmission is TH350 with 0 miles. TCI iron drum with 36 element sprag, new clutches. Slip joint driveshaft. Rebuilt 3.70 Posi.
Will consider selling engine, transmission and chassis separately.

That's pretty cool! Wonder why it has been sitting in one spot for so long? There must be a story behind it. It appears to be a decent project or even a driver.

"transplanted" 409 would be the key word suggesting not a correct 409 car-looks like good value.

The maroon car is real. Used to be red, came from Quebec to Barrie about 10 years ago, complete wth fog lamps in the grille. Owner has photo documentation of the restoration. Hard to think that this car isn't worth $25K.

Just my call on this but the Fall seems like the wrong time to sell a car if you want top dollar. Great time to buy though.

I had this discussion with a guy today. I guess people don't want to pay storage.
 I sold my 55 last fall and took a little less so I wouldn't have to store it.

 I have found in recent years that the collector car values don't seem to change that much through the year-I actually find that may/june are bad times to sell because theres a ton of stuff on the market-july/august is bad too-people are already in their summer mode. The best dollars seem to come in the dead of winter when theres nothing else advertised. Funny the storage thing-I can't imagine selling something for thousands less just to save  $250 on storage-but some people do.
