hey all, after spending many days searching the internet for 62 beaumont info and parts, poncho kept coming up.  As I am a total Chevfreak I thought I had better join this blog to meet some new freinds and possibly further my knowledge about my 62 beaumont.  I have had this car for 15 or so years, rescued from a field in Alberta.  I am getting ready to work in it and an=m trying to locate some parts.  I have everthing but am looking for some parts in better condition. Origanally I was going to chassis and build a race car out of it but after some reasearch I am starting to think this is a car more worth of a restoration/ street machine.  are ther really only 1100 beaumonts built in 62?  I would appreciate any info or comments anyone has.  Thanks! There were 1164 Acadian Beaumont 2 dr coupe with 6 cyl (model 8437) built in '62 (as seen posted above seconds before me smile).
In '62 the Beaumont series was also offered in 2 dr coupe with 4 cyl, station wagons, convertibles, 2dr/4dr sedans and either 4 cyl or 6 cyl engines.

For parts you should try Menno in Aldergrove 604 856 5526 or Dave at Tin Man Auto in Cobble Hill 250 743 7321 or Bob on this forum (username Gus).

Post pics when you get a chance.  We like pictures!

Welcome here chevyfreak! You are in good hands now! Glad you are fixing another Acadian because it is far too common for them to become racecars that few folks will ever see. 62's are very uncommon as you are finding out. Hope you find what you are looking for.

 And I still have a 62 Acadian Beaumont 4 dr with quite a few usable parts on it for sale.  This car spent it's entire life in Arizona, so parts quality is very good.

Thanks so much for the welcome guys! I will get some pictures up in the next day or two, not much currently but it is all there. I will upload some of my other rides as well. thanks for the info I think I have already spoken with the guy at the coast but I will contact him anyway. Does anyone have some interior connections? or spare stuff. if I am to revive this car I would like to have the original interior if possible. What size V8 did they come with 283,327? mine is a 6 of course, I also thought it might be cool to do the 6 up. what do you guys think I am used to HP.

Looks pretty complete, other than the side moldings which we can't see in the pics all the Acadian trim and emblems are there.
Those reverse lights in the trunk lid are '62 only, so they're hard to come by.

Our cars rolled off the line in similar colours.
Mine was ermine white and yours corona cream "M" with the same medium gold/light gold interior "959".
Do you have more pics of your interior?

Nope, wagon's had the same tail light/reverse light housing as the chevy ii's.
