I will be there all weekend.   Gold Field 2N6. We will have a couple of 67 Beaumont parts including a really nice grille emblem. The beaumont parts are not mine. Stop by and say hello. My CP T shirt is in Florida so if anyone is coming from near Todds place could they pick it up for me, it is already paid for.

That's my feeling too. A friend of mine who does a AMC parts wrote a letter to OLD AUTOS about all the non automotive venders there , they refused to print it!!!  Hainey says you must have 70 o/o auto parts to vend, but then doesn't enforce his own rules, & lets all the sock & jewlery "CRAP" in with no auto parts??  GO FIGURE  I don't "NEED" alot for the 52 right now, but I do have a future list, still thinking if I should go or not!!!  Don't really need any more SOCKS

I used to go every spring and every fall until last year. I would vend and look for parts. It is getting really hard to find nice parts so I have basicly given up.

I also found that when you take nice parts nobody wants to pay what they are worth. A lot of parts I sold went to other vendors. I don't take junk but people will offer what junk is worth.

I used to travel to Ontario specifically to attend Barrie. Now I will only go if I can add it to existing business or other travel - for all the reasons noted above. I don't find the parts there anymore.

Hopefully some of the guys on here looking for that emblem can snap it up before it gets to Barrie! What else 67 do you have going there?

I think we have grilles and headlight assemblies. everything is allready in boxes and the trailor is loaded.

We are the same four guys that have been going to Barrie since it was held at Molson Park. It is our end of summer breakaway, a big party for us. I agree with everything that has been said on this forum about the the quality of the flea market. I always find something for one of my cars or the shop. It is not like it used to be for finding nos parts but there is always something interesting. If I had to go by myself I would not go for a whole weekend as it would be way to expensive.

As long as nothing comes up at work I should be there for Friday. See you there Steve

Most have already expressed my sentiments but if the weather is nice I'll probably still go.

seen one nice 65 Beaumont truck lid panal with all letters but price was too high for me. Lots of empty spaces and people complaining. On the up side the weather was perfect.

didn't get any sock or underwear. did get about 15 old license plates to stick up on the wall of the shop. also conversed with norontcan and his misses (actually i think its almost the same spot i ran into him last year), bill and his misses (don't remember his user name, just what he drives a 69 beaumont) and al taylor. weather was good. usually i take my 55 but i took the daily beater cause i didn't want to give the extra to park closer. not a bad day after all.

Went today and bumped into Stephenzone. Went by Taylor55's spot but he had been replaced by a Timmins public works safety cone.
Bought very little. Did find an original Plaza key chain.
There was some Beaumont stuff there along with some 64 full size pieces.
