wiring for convertible top motor


i am trying to find out how to wire in my switch for my 67 beaumont convertible is there a circuit breaker or a relay and where does it mount

Hi Brent

If I am remembering right, the heavy (10 or 12 gauge?) wire should go through the firewall to a circuit breaker mounted on the firewall close to the brake cylinder. If you look at some convertible engine pictures it should be visible. The breaker has two threaded studs and mounts with 2 screws.

that's how my 70 convertible is.
