Is this a car show and swap meet? How do you rate it? I may be able to get there on Sunday en route to Alberta. Is it worthwhile making the stopover? Thanks.

It is a non judged car show, no swap meet, the main street for about 5 blocks and several side streets are blocked off. They usually have around 1100 cars on Saturday and about 900 on Sunday, weather plays a big part in the turnout.

Hey Carl, I can drive a 2-spd, 3-spd, 4-spd and a 5-spd but not all at once! I haven't been to Pumpkinfest for EONS!! My missus and I use to take our trailer up there every year but haven't gone now since Princess Diana was killed so that's how long it's been. Great car show to say the least. Weather does play a big part of course in how many cars attend as has been mentioned here already. For once it would be nice just to GET a Saturday that wasn't pouring rain!

YEP! Start warming up your vocal cords for "Happy Birthday" Carl. Calling for 60% chance of rain
but just wait until the day gets here fellas. It seems that when they say 60% chance, we don't get
a drop around here and when they say 30% we get a torrential deluge! As I've always said, they can't predict what happened YESTERDAY let alone TODAY OR TOMORROW!!
