That's gotta be getting a little exciting. Have to be creative to cover that hole up. Maybe your controls for nitrous would work.

Kelly, what type of clips are you using to mount your rocker chrome? The reason I ask is that the holes look smaller than stock. Did you find a better clip to use? As for the tach wire location photo, has anybody helped you yet? I won't have time this week but next week I can take a photo.

Might need a plate with a few switches. NOS, electric exhaust cut-out and flame throwers.

I'll have to get creative for sure.. it's just a hair visible with the console in place... so some decorative cutting of scraps may fill the void... hopefully.

I got a fire wall photo from Carl.. It doesnt have an actual wire coming through but it has a location marked. If anyone has an actual photo of the wire and the "funky" grommet that comes through..that would be great. but for now.. at least i have the location.

thanks very much

Perfect shot of your firewall Kelly. You can even see that dimple there where the white dot is in the other picture. I am pretty sure you can buy a repro tach wire with that cool grommet it needs.

thanks guys.
Paul. I got some clips that matched the originals pretty close.. but not exactly.. They mount a little differently than the originals too. I dont have any here to take a photo of.. but I may be able to get a photo from the shop.

Can you buy them new? What are they from and where can you get them?

I bought them from a restoration shop in Calgary.. but it took them awhile to find them.  i gave them an original as a sample and weeks later the figured they had found a decent match.
The muscle car shop is the name of the shop I dealt with.  403 569 1957

they may have been these ones actually.. very close.
