On a 53-54 canadian Pontiac, the Chevy kingpin kit work perfectly, but you can't interchange some parts on the steer axle like the lower A arm and the main axle (unless you cut and weld the engine support) from a Chevy one.

Don't use the kingpin kit from a US Pontiac model.

Also, you can use the Chevy center link bushing kit, it's the same as canadian Pontiac of the same year.

IF you  need picture of the steer axle rebuild let me know.

Fitz.

Good question.  Im actually just pulling off my e brake cables.  They need to be replaced.  Ill let you know what I find....

Another thing im going to be needing are the Engine mounts.  I still have to look up just what is involved in changing them

For the kingpin, no matters the chevy model. For the e-brake cable "chevy's of the 40's" have them and it look really close to the original.

For the engine mount, the front one is pure Pontiac, you can use the US model one, on side near the bell housing use the engine mount from a 46 chevrolet from "chevy's of the 40's"  also.

Before I start hitting the internet for places in the states, im going to look a little more locally, like with that Norm from Mid Canada Suspension. I called today and hes closed Wed and Thurs. Ill try again Friday. With my carb still being about 2 weeks away from being done, I have a little time to play.
