I assume the 300 horse is not factory installed? Upgraded?

What GM came with a 300hp 327?  The valve cover stickers are 300hp.....  Was that vette only?  I thought all of 327's were 275hp or 350hp for Beaumont.

There was also a 300 horse in earlier B body as well as A body and X body but I think by 66 it was down to just Corvette, or....???

And the Beaumont was an "Econoflame" vs the "Turbofire" indicated on the VCD's/

The turbofire decal, hei ignition and open element air cleaner adds an extra 25hp! Nice looking car.

It just clicked. Wasnt this same car at an auction about a year ago? I'm sure I saw it on an auction web page that was linked on a thread here at the Poncho site...

Possibly the same sire where there was a silver '66 big block that was missing the vin number?...

Bingo, I think this is the same one (from an auction last year):

Asking 10k more than it went for last year...

Nice looking car. I hope nobody thinks we're criticizing it because of the decal discussion!
