steering of my 57 Laurentian

Hi,
I have a problem with a piece of my right steering but I don't know the english name of it... You see on the picture, the axe is twisted because the rubber is older than me. I need to find that for the both ends and the both sides.

You need idler arm bushings - mail order from USA:

http://www.classicchevy.com/chevy-long-idler-arm-bushing-rear-1955-1957.html

http://www.classicchevy.com/chevy-short-idler-arm-bushing-front-1955-1957.html

Sorry I do not know a source in your country.

Dave

You can use Roland near you in Strasbourg. He's a great guy to know for original parts for american car in Europe.

here where to join him.

Tell him it's André Fitzback give you his name. (He's french).

Good luck.

Fitz.

look up poor man power steering for 55- 57 chevy's . It updates the idler with roller bearings and makes them nicer to drive.

Moog used to stock them ?
