I'm was surfing on Jalopy Journal tonight and came across this really interesting thread started by a guy who rescued the remains of an old Seagrave fire truck and has started to convert it into a "Giant Speedster". I give this guy credit and he has a lot of skill. He even has a trick electric kiln he uses to cast his own parts. Lots of good photos and video. You'll need about an hour to read it all-and it's still a work in progress. The thread is 18 pages long..
