1967 pontiac progress

Need to take a deep breath when cutting out the floor. Takes a lot of courage (or stupidity in my case) to remove the complete floor.

Congratulations on the big step, patience and a methodical approach will win the day.

I can appreciate your excitement, been there many times, but , take it slow and enjoy the process, the completion will come. Don't put too many time lines, even to accommodate others.
By the way, your are right, School comes first.
Enjoy and be safe

x2 Looks like  good heat penetration. Nothing like lying on your back with sparks/slag landing on you! Very nice job!

My first thought was " great " you welded from the right side. While it took more effort, and skill, to do it over head from the underside it will be much less obvious since the weld heads will be hidden by the gas tank. Welds look super.
Got to be a good feeling to see this part completed.
Onto the next phase.

Does anyone have a picture of there trunk floor drop offs? I need to remake mine and was wondering what they look like? (completely rusted out)

or would 67 impala drop offs be close enough to make work?
