WE BOUGHT THIS CAR...I was just about to send the info to the registry. Do you think this car is already registered? Sorry the scoops were not attachedbiggrin. And he didn't included them so I can't even give them to you :).

I know there was a few other people looking at it but he held it for us to see on Tuesday evening. We paid for it, got the papers, etc. Then went back on Saturday with our neighour's car hauler again. It started right up, put it on the truck and drove home in the pouring down rain.

The guy we got the car from had it only two weeks! But the fellow he got it from had it for years. But it was sitting for thr last four yearsdisbelief.  The frame has two rust holes on the drivers side front and back. We plan to use a few of the parts for Fannie and then I hope to sell the rest to folks who might need parts for their Beaumont.

I know there was a guy in ST. Petters, Cape Breton, NS with a 69 Beaumont, that wanted the car for the same reason. If he or any of you know who he is, get a hold of me and we can talk. Maybe the parts he needs aren't the same parts that I need...we could shareaww

Anyway, I was blown away when I saw it on here.

I'm being silly. The W30 442 Cutlass had a ram air package that had a scooped hood.

"w30" reminded me of the w31 cutlass i once owned.w30 is the optional fiberglass hood with functional scoops.

And it's a four door.  Is their "Fannie" a four door too?

Sorry, turns out it was a false alarmno. Another 4dr sedan but in very bad condition! So looks like we'll be using a few parts off the sedan to restore Fannie.

Sorry this makes a few people upset, but as must of you must know how difficult parts are to find for these cars.  Well, wagons are even more rare then this sedan. I really don't like having to use another car to restore Fannie but I don't believe we have any other options. I was able to find only one parts wagon and that was in Arizona, couldn't afford the shipping on that one. I do not plan to junk this car. The plan is to sell the rest of the car that is not used. Hopefully there is someone else in the same position as us and this car will be just as helpful to them. I am very excited that Fannie has a new lease on life and hope to get started very soon...if it ever stops raining on the weekends.
