Running 283 with block number 3756519 which is a 58 to 62 vintage. Not sure what it came out of as it's in a 69 Landrover that I am wrecking. Has standard trans flywheel as well and bell housing. Looking for offers around 500.
There seem to very few 283's that aren't still running. Bullet proff baby!!!...

'64 Parisienne CS "barn find" - last on the road in '86 ... Owner Protection Plan booklet, original paint, original near-mint aqua interior, original aqua GM floor mats, original 283, factory posi, and original rust.
If you really want a 283 here in ontario, I still have one - $250. It was a runner that was in a 64' chev pickup. It leaked from everywhere and now has been sitting for a couple years in heated storage.
