do you think it's a good price?
i was thinking on rebuilding mine 1964 L-30
but engine shops are charging me around $1800 to rebuilt and at that price i don't have the new distributor and carburator quadrajet

do you think my 1964 2 speed PowerGlide and the rest of the parts (headers, ect) would bolt on directly?

Is your's the original engine for your car still? If so, I would consider having your's redone to keep the car original.

Otherwise, yes, that is likely a decent price but I would say the horsepower is likely a bit less than the 375 as advertised, not that it is really a big deal.

yes mine is the original engine
i would keep the original engine as-is and maybe work on it myself over the years , but i would keep it with the car

I think that would be a pefect plan to use this engine while you get the original rebuilt over time. $2200 sounds pretty fair with what it includes, I'd say that engine would be more like a true 300 hp.

Yes, as far as I recall, those two engines are identical externally. All your stuff should be a direct fit.

A 67 engine should be the last year of the old style crankcase vent system so even that should be correct. Also both would have originally had the cannister oil filter.

Does that 2 step oil pan fit a full size? You may need another pan... motor could be a good buy, but do you know what shop did the work?
