That is one worth printing off for reference. Those wheel covers are the same as the ones we had on a 70 Tempest, are they standard ?

The 390HP 427 was the only engine with dual exhausts in 1969. Duals added to this one would put you at 345 HP, remember the 396 was a 2bbl at 265 HP. Even as is it is one of the hottest set ups.

I think this car was on here a year and a half ago or so with the story of the guy talking to the people who originally owned it and they sort of interviewed him before he purchased it. If I remember it was all covered under some blankets. Looks like brand new.

That has to be the upper end of price on one of these. We all know that minty BBC cars can't get $10,000 and in fact I have personally seen recent appraisal on such a BBC car that is exactly at $10,000. I also have personal knowledge of two 1969 427 cars selling in the last month, one at $3200 and another at $4,000, both in original condition and running. As newsletter editor of the CPSC- POCI I get a lot of information that never goes public. I like this car, don't get me wrong, but I wouldn't be writing a cheque for $15,000 for it. Having said all that it strikes me that western appraisers are very liberal with values when compared to Ontario.

Heck, 30 years ago if it was green it was parted out! LOL! As far as the price goes; to each their own obviously. Just TRY and put a car together that looks THAT MINT for THAT price. Just try find
all the parts needed, that in itself could be a tough go. She is a beaut though. Nice to see one that original; green or "snot".

This is generally the same condition as my 70 2+2 hardtop, with comparable mileage (mine has 38K miles).  I too am the second owner.   Not that mine is for sale, but I'd love to get $15K for it.
