I just located a 1969 Pontiac 2+2 427 numbers matching car sitting since 1975 in good solid original condition. I would like to share pictures of this vehicle with you Todd. I can be reached at Classic Car Wash 905 3747988 monday0ct18 or later . thanks dan. The car is now in my possesion in Niagara Falls
Hey.... What about the rest of us???? Todd, you got the inside move again??? (lol)
Oh, and welcome aboard!!!
Actually Big Ray does. Nice to see you signing on Dan. As I mentioned to you yesterday the numbers for 4 speed 427 2+2 are 14 and pretty safe to say less than 40 2+2's with 427. Looking forward to coming down to see the car.
I saw a bunch of vehicles (about 10) in a barn not far from me and ended up buying one, the '65 Chevelle 300 deluxe. I know of a 39,000 mile 1966 Canso still has the original tires, that hasn't saw daylight since 1982 (tried to buy it 3 years ago), or how about a 1965 Beaumont wagon , 1 owner 283 4bbl stick! Or maybe a 1963 Split window coupe that has been in a garage since I moved here 16 years ago and just recently was sold. Or the barn beside my place that was collapsing 2 years ago and I watched several 70's cars get towed away and one '68 Shelby Mustang leave on a float,(wish I new that one was in there)!!!! Still lots of "treasures " in my area, just have to dig them out.

That doesn't surprise me. With my job delivering auto parts I am seeing a lot of vehicles beside barns, behind driving shed in garages. They are still out there.
Here is what I know......car was ordered by GM Canada Engineering so it was a company car for an executive most likely, it is dark green with white vinyl top and interior. Car has original paint. Current owner tells me it does not have striping so I by the sounds of it it must have trim like the one currently listed in Calgary. Car does not have Rally wheels either, some sort of wheel cover. During oil crisis 427 was removed in favour of a 283. Original engine is not in the car but the current owner does have the Big Block that matches the car. Intention is to restore car.

I love barn finds, but barns in general make me a little nervous. Besides mice living in them and having a taste for wire insulation, barns sometimes collapse as the poor guy with a barn full of rare Cosworth Vegas in Michigan found out in 2007. It made me sick to my stomach to see the carnage
Sorry people, I didn't intent to bring you down or make you ill. I just wanted a sobering reminder of what can happen. Be careful where you store your classic.
