New Car

Heres a few pics of the new car I picked up the other day.Its a Pro mod 69 Roadrunner.Gonna put the KB Hemi from the T/A into it,since its setup for it already. The Bird is up for sale now as a roller. I know its no Canadian Poncho ,but it`ll depend on one to make it to the track.

Looks sweet but I can't believe you are going to sell the bird. If I remember correctly you have had the bird longer that you have been able to drive.

I know its not the same, and I will feel different racing a mopar.Ive had it for 20 years and tired of it I suppose.  But this car is alot safer than the Bird, and the price was right. I'll be racing it at the local track,Gimli. The Midwest Wildbunch tours through here a couple times a year,so Ill join them when I can and maybe sometime go to one of the other tracks they hit.

Nice looking car Chris!... very purpose built for the times you want to run, safety is important! I guess we'll see it out next spring? You've had that firebird a long time...it is certainly "your" car...

its definitely safer than the bird, the bird looked like a handful going down the track, i think its a wise decision, spoken like a dad.

heres the vid of chris's vette i made.

Looking forward to seeing it in action at Gimli next year. That hemi will be right at home in the roadrunner. At least you still have the wagon.

I can understand the attraction. After all the 1969 Plymouth Road Runner copied the 1967 Beaumont tail lights biggrin
