Nice little car, Chevy II instrument cluster
Unsure if that model came with buckets and floor shift.
Seats are Chevy II as well
Looks pretty straight.

Good info Lefty. I guessed the seats were wrong as well but wasn't sure. Somebody must have wanted gauges but couldn't find an SD cluster.

It came with buckets but there was only an automatic floor shift in them. It seems to me I read the story somewhere about the manual trans conversion on this car. It may have been on Steve's Nova Site.

according to my lit the Beaumont only came with a bench set. The SD was the only model with the buckets and floor shift. I will check with Menno, he should know.
But still would be a neat one to own.
I have seen some strange "factory equiped Converts"
the best was a dark green 62 a guy bought with the following installed " factory "options
1. 327 V8
2. high back buckets
3. 4 speed manual
4. chevy II tail lights
I think they guy that sold it to him streched the truth !!
and it was a good 8in higher off the ground then mine.
this one is the same colour as the one Menno is working on
he installed a 66 front clip and rear quarters including tail lights
it should look great when he finishs with it.

You know, you could be right. In 62 all the converts had buckets (no console), did they not? For some reason my brain also said 63 but I bet you are correct.
