1/2 way there, i found a part to take the place of the missing Swivle.
it is called a throttle ball joint from PAPCO (10-32 stock # 262-203)
the only problem was the stud on the ball joint was a 10-32 and the original hole is for a stud the size of an 8-32. so i ground off the threads and rethreaded it to an 8-32, now it fits in the hole
like a glove and with it being held on with a nut instead of a clip it will have very little play.
Now i just have to weld a new threaded tail in 10-32 to the shaft and i should be ready to go.

well it is repaired, now to see if i can install it without dropping the trans....
had to remove threads from ball joint and re-tap to 8/32 so it would fit through hole in bracket.
if this works i am going to make a complete new one with a larger rod so i can put a swivel on both ends.

Repair so far..
works but i will have to cut the end again and weld on a new 10/32 bolt.
As you car see im right at the end of the treads and i need to come back and 8th to line up with the black lines.
(tape will be removed after it works)
found a NOS switch but they want $500 !! i will repair this or live without...
