It has powertrain charts showing which engine was available in which body with which transmission.
It has all the RPO codes for 77-81.
It breaks down serial numbers.
It has engine block codes, transmission codes and differential codes (ratios as well as posi or non posi and ring gear sizes)
It has charts for springs, carburetors and stripes.
It has a chart with all part numbers contained in the book showing where they can be found in the book. (Great info for shopping for NOS parts)
I could go on and on (I usually do) but you get the idea.
Here's the deal. I got this book cheap. I think I paid about $35 for it. It will cost about $25-$30 to ship anywhere in Canada, regular mail. It weights 14 pounds! The binders alone sometimes sell for over $25 on ebay. I will donate anything above my actual costs (likely about $60 for the book and shipping) to Canadian Poncho.
So, let's make the "reserve" $60.
Oh, I forgot, let's run this until 11 PM Sunday night, November 14th, 2010.
PLEASE SUPPORT CANADIAN PONCHO BY BIDDING OFTEN AND BIDDING HARD!!!!!

I'd love to have it, but I'd have to get rid of my Popular Mechanics DIY encyclopedia sets before I'd be allowed to keep it. She who must be obeyed has spoken.
But if it's a fund raiser, where do I send the donation? I'd really rather spend $20 supporting a great site than $50 to donate $20 to Post canada and get a $10 item that I don't really need ... if you know what I mean.
No, I wish I had a bunch of them for sale! I've been asked for that one more than once!
I do have a Camaro parts book for my own reference but I am only selling off my duplicates. I am trying to assemble a complete library for GM back to the 40's at least.
Got a good start....!
Always happy to help with part number questions etc though when I can.

Gee nobody wants my oldies even for free. LOL. Was just about gonna toss them into the trash soon. Mostly truck books and mid 70's and up cars. all the old ones are gone as well.
If so, then I am wrong about where I thought I had purchased it.
If that is the case, then the donation to Canadian Poncho from this sale is more because Rick gave me a few parts books and I only paid approx $50 freight to get them here.

If so, then my "reserve" for this book is only what I have in it plus what it will cost to mail out. I think I got 4 books from Rick at the time, so shipping would have cost $12 per book.
If Rick replies that either of these came from him, the new reserve will be $35 and Stephenzone will have the option to lower his bid.
I am not interesting in profiting off this book, especially if it was originally given to me by another CP member!

It is possible, some of them did have tape as that one does, stating the book usage. Doesn't really matter if I gave it too u or not, if they are going to donate the funds to Canadian Poncho, so be it.
