Hey Brian, welcome to the CP site!.
You know me and I'm here in Peterboro'!.
I've mentioned your '60 being available here a few times in the past..
It's the original 261 in the car, right?.
Is it still over at Mike's shop or your place on the East end o' town?.

Looks like it would be a nice starting point for a hot rod project!  Hopefully somebody will step up to the plate and grab this one!

Awesome car. It looks like the sort of thing you would find in a junkyard 40 years ago (Im not knocking it!) Don't scrap it!

I've known you for years also I think this car since you got it!.
Didn't you get it around the same time as that tubbed Fairlane?.
Have you done anything w/ the Ghias you were working on?.

I think it would be a great candidate for a "hot rod with patina" project like those pictured below.  While I do prefer shiny paint, this is a way that somebody could get it roadworthy and enjoy the car sooner, then worry about the cosmetics later...

i would drive any of those no prob i agree it should not be couch material but  . ill always have part of the car hanging around i was thinking of a desk from the front clip aswell i dont think my price is out of line but i keep geting lowballers  just got one for 300 and 500 i can run it over the scales for that  witch i do not want to . they just have no respect for what it is

Man, if I had the means I'd be doing just something like that with it, with the goal being to eventually have a nice shiny coat of black on it with maybe some Cragars.  Maybe a 348 with a 4-speed, or even a healthy small block.  I really like that body style and think it would make a great rod.

Have you tried advertising it on a rodders' type board like the H.A.M.B.?  Maybe one of those guys might want to take it on and do something with it.  I too think it would be a shame to cut it up.

I hope someone buys it - I was very tempted to but ended up with a 57' Plymouth instead for a price I couldn't refuse.
