Does anyone have an opinion as to the value of this car, I know its not a Pontiac, but I like it and it seems to me that it will be a classic that will appreciate in value as time goes by. Just not sure if it is worth the asking price now.
As a Camaro owner, I think its a beauty certainly a "new " car If its what you want, it would be a great car.. the price is what you would pay for a end of run collector .. From experience, I have had and seen..
If you keep it nice for 30-40 years, you should see it sell at the same price...

Carl if I could wait 30-40 years to see it sell I would be very happy to give it away as I am 62 now (that would put me at 92-102 years old ouch!!!!!
There are four of these special SS cars on ebay right now ranging from Buy it nows or $14,980 to $29,000. Counting the one in Winnipeg that makes 5 of these we can find pretty easily. Interesting to me that if it's so rare there are that many for sale.Price variances of 100% too.

Thanks for the opinions guys. They have helped me get my thoughts straight on this car. I have the 66 SD (that I am keeping) but would like something newer with air as I am planning on going back to Hot August Nights in Reno again next summer. I took the Beaumont last year, and it was 104 degrees almost every day. I have a Mazda 3 with air, but it just doesn't fit in with the group of cars that are going (classic 50s & 6os). Will check out the ones on ebay.

I think I would be tempted to put in Vintage air. Costs abit but you have one less car to worry about and you'll have a very comfortable ride down there in the heat.
