Here's some great participant pictures of the Western Regional Early Ford V8 Club held in St. George, Utah on October 18-20. I love these early Fords. How about you?
Being born in the late 50's I never really gave these cars a second look but in the last few years going to cruises, shows and events I have developed a real appreciation for pre war, cars of the 40's and early 50's. I really like the Fords from the 40's:

Just stop and think..The first cars were made from heavy metal and brass... then not so heavy metal and lots of chrome.... then light metal and plastic.....Now mostly plastic.......Why are we paying more now for plastic than brass or chrome? .Will these new plastic cars ever have any value 20 or 30 years from now? Will plastic hold the value like the old brass or chrome?I dont think so.
