One interesting thing is that this has the base model single round headlights which were also on the base Malibu. I believe in 76-77 the Malibu Classics had the twin stacked rectangular lights, and this was also an upgrade on the El Camino when you picked up the Classic package.

The '75 Laguna front end is not installed, that has more of a raked look to it and the integrated Endura style bumper. That is the stock Chevelle front end on there now.

427 Carl, You are the man!

The Laguna S-3 front clip was the most aerodynamic of the Colonnade A bodys, and made it very popular on the NASCAR circuit in the mid to late '70s.

I re-read the ad, I believe he is stating that he has a lot of spare parts and the Laguna front end is one of those pieces.

I bought a 74 Elky SS 454 back in Sept of '77. I was a cool car. Red with white SS stripes, white int. swivel buckets, loaded. Man would it lay rubber! Had the 10' aluminum slots with Mickey Thomsons on the back and it would melt 'em.
It was rusting bad by the next summer and was already on it's 2nd paint job. It amazes me that any of these are left over 30 years later.

The summer of '76 I was doing PDI's at Dalts Honda in T.O. as my summer job.

One of the trade ins I had to clean up was a year old Laguna S-3, red and with silver stripes and red cloth interior. The owner of that car had been a cigar smoker and I can still smell it 34 years later. It stunk inside! Couldn't get rid of the smell, the car was still on the lot when I went back to school after Labour day. I think it ended up going to auction.
