I just pulled out some old 327 valve covers that were soaking in vinegar in the garage. With the cold temperatures we've been having, there were blocks of semi frozen vinegar in each of them. When I dumped them, I was reminded of this thread. I was just wondering if any of the old "distictive" valve covers could be used as a cake pan to create a similar "distictive" cake? For example a 409 could be cool. I was thinking of chrome plating a set of 327 vc's. If I do, I might try a cake before it goes on the car. (Knowing how much I like cake though, it would give me one more reason to yearn for a big block. LOL)
